The Tutoring and Academic Assistance Center Hosts Tutoring at Canal Hall

The Tutoring and Academic Assistance Center (TAAC) Announces Walk-In Tutoring & Academic Coaching now available in Canal Residence Hall in the Canal Hall Conference Room.

A special thank you to Courtney Owen, Matthew Briars, and Virginia Geer-Mentry for their collaboration and support to launch this important effort. 

No appointments, no hassle—students just show up and get the help needed to ace their classes and conquer college life. Please see below for more information about courses and scheduling:

Karen Mead – Writing Consultant & Academic Coach, in Canal Hall Conference Room:

  • Monday: 5:00 to 7:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 5:00 to 7:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 4:00 to 8:00 PM

Shuanglin Huang – Math Tutor, in Canal Hall Conference Room:
(Supports MTH-098, MTH-104, MTH-165, MTH-175, MTH-210, and MTH-211)

  • Monday: 5:00 to 8:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 5:00 to 8:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 5:00 to 8:00 PM

Please note: The following adjusted tutoring schedule for Canal Residence Hall the week of Monday, November 25, 2024, in observance of Thanksgiving (regular hours will resume on Monday, December 2, 2024):
