MCC Brightspace Help
At MCC, we use D2L's Brightspace Learning Management System, which is part of the SUNY Digital Learning Environment.
- Students can have their Brightspace account and MCC technology-related questions answered by calling or emailing the MCC Student Technology Help Desk.
- Faculty or staff can have their Brightspace and other instructional technology questions answered by emailing the Virtual Campus Office and/or answered live during faculty Zoom support hours. Account-related or technology support questions should be directed to our Employee Technology Support Center.
- Outside of regular college business hours, we recommend that students, faculty, or staff contact the SUNY Online Help Desk.
SUNY Online Help Desk
The SUNY Online Support Services HelpDesk is your primary resource for Brightspace technical support. Contact your instructor for content-related support. The SUNY Online Support Services HelpDesk can be reached via phone at 1-844-OPENSUNY (1-844-673-6786) during the following hours:
- Monday through Friday: 7am to 12am (EST)
- Saturday: 10am to 6pm (EST)
- Sunday: 10am to 9pm (EST)
When contacting the SUNY Online Support Services HelpDesk, please provide the following information:
- Your name and the name of your college.
- The name of your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
- The name and version number of your web browser software.
- Your computer's operating system.
- For inquiries related to assignment submission, provide the name of your word processing software or other software being used to create the assignment (i.e., Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
- Description of the technical problem. For inquiries related to a course, include the course title and code, the name of the SUNY college offering the course, and the professor's name.
