A mental health emergency is a situation where there is imminent risk of danger to self or others. If you or someone else is experiencing an emergency, please immediately contact one of the resources below:

  • Monroe County website: Comprehensive lists of outpatient and walk-in community clinics.
  • 211 / Lifeline: Dial 211 for 24/7 information and referral service offering assistance and referrals for emergency food, shelter, clothing, crisis counseling, substance dependence, employment, financial and legal issues, physical and mental health needs.
  • Wayfinder: MyWayfinder is an online assessment tool that can help you navigate the complex system of human services, health, education, and government services by bringing them all to one place. 
  • Monroe County has a mobile mental health app available that provide students with wellness information, including direct access to emergency crisis contacts, locations of nearby support services, and suicide prevention information. To download, visit the Apple IOS store or Google Play store.
